Sarah was quick to respond to our questions via email and was helpful in getting us set up with our first class. She was even there to greet us on the first day! Adam and Heather have been exceptional in the classroom. After just a few weeks, my daughter has produced a beautiful drawing with their guidance and assistance. She climbs into the car after class and talks about what she did and learned the whole way home, which is so wonderful to hear. She’s excited to explore other classes at King Art and we are beyond thrilled with the experience.

Sarah, Adam, Ed and all the teachers run the place well it's always full of happy faces! Also I highly recommend the theme summer camps but they do fill up quickly!

Nicholas Gutierrez: Wanted to try going here for a couple months to refresh my mind artistically, and this studio is super amazing. Everyone is super nice and my instructor, Adam, was always invested in helping every student improve without anyone feeling lost or ignored. Adam not only is well skilled in enough art mediums to help basically any student, but also is the kind of positive, motivating instructor that can make you love art, instead of feeling too pressured to be better. It’s also great that they provide all your needed supplies, so you’re able to play around in a new medium without having to bring any of your own tools in. I even discovered I actually like oil pastels from taking classes here. The only complaint I could have is the time. I understand how the schedule works and I’m sure it’s great if you have a young artist, but with hour timeslots, once you’re finally in your mojo with your piece, you’re already like halfway through your time lol. I had to take a break from classes due to cost but if there’s ever a longer adult class option or figure drawing events I’ll definitely be there.

Angie: I was invited to a function held at PINOT’S PALETTE in The District last night sponsored by Fidelity Investments. It was a really FUN evening meeting other ladies & trying our hand at painting… something I’ve never done before! There were some very talented ladies as confirmed by their completed painting! Emily, one of the instructors helped those of us with less talent with various brush techniques & how to blend paint etc. she was so friendly & patient! The entire staff was friendly & helpful & we all had a wonderful time. An array of appetizers, wine & soft drinks were graciously provided by Fidelity. I think enjoying a unique evening at Pinot’s Palette makes for a great “team building” event whether you’re an artist or not. A great way for budding artists to showcase their artistry & technique! A BIG THANK YOU to ELVIA CALLAHAN of Fidelity for inviting me! We all had a wonderful time!

Boyd K N: I've been to two of the three locations in the Las Vegas area, and it's always a fun time. I usually go with some friends, and this last time was for a fundraiser for an animal shelter, so we painted Grumpy Cat....I am not artistically inclined in the slightest, so take the attached photo with a grain of salt, but it is so much fun nonetheless.

collette robinson: I really had a great time. My only suggestion is that the mimosas were somewhat of a joke in that they were 95% orange juice and 5% champagne. You really couldn't call them mimosas. Ended up buying a bottle separately to make them REAL mimosas. Otherwise, it was great fun!!!

Shaida Jetha: Art Classes for Kids, taught by artist Kim Bavington, provides high-quality art classes with the art history element I was looking for in a kids' art class. Kim teaches still life drawing and painting, which is important to me. My 6 year old also enjoys the clay sculpting and acrylic painting. Kim is a great art teacher who inspires my daughter's creativity and love for art. My daughter looks forward to her weekly class and enjoys her special event holiday classes as well. Highly recommend.

Usman Malik: My 6 year old daughter takes Kim's weekly art class and I'm continually impressed with the artwork that she brings home. Kim offers fun holiday art classes and my daughter enjoys watching Kim's art videos on YouTube as well. This isn't your basic arts and crafts art class. She is learning about fine art and art history appropriate for her age. Love the exposure to various genres of music during the classes as an added bonus.

Great mentors and teachers not only in martial arts but for life skills and character building are not only hard to find but very rare. This is school and the community within it that they have nurtured is quite simply one of a kind. We were very fortunate to have spent two years there and it was very sad and hard to leave once my job transferred me. Lisa Larsen [Rundle ES]: CD Young's Karate came to Rundle Elementary school and completed their Live Your Life program with our 5th graders.The program included a 45 minute learning session about ways to not be involved in different types of bullying and ways to use your voice instead of getting physical in different situations, a wristband, a brochure of information, and a challenge. When the challenge was met, the team came back and had a pizza party with our students to talk with them and learn about how they had been doing. The program was completely free and was helpful to our students.The team was easy to work with and schedule with. The team checked up on our students all throughout the year, and I could tell that they truly cared about them. We are already setting up dates to do the program again next year!I would recommend this program to all schools.
