Russell Evans: I joined Carlson Gracie Jiu Jitsu Henderson a week ago. Everyone there is super nice and helpful to new students who are learning. The classes are tough, but the people throughout all belt levels are very encouraging and understanding of what it means to be new and have a bunch of stuff thrown at you. Professor Romulo is a very skilled black belt and an excellent teacher. He has a great lineage and many competition medals. He definitely knows what he’s doing.The facility itself is very nice and looks brand new. Professor Romulo keeps it very clean.Being a student at Carlson Gracie Jiu Jitsu makes me feel like I’m part of a family. There is a very positive atmosphere there and I highly recommend anyone who is interested in learning BJJ to come into a class and check it out for themselves.They have several Gi and No Gi classes as well as children’s and women’s classes throughout the week to fit any schedule.The first week is free, first month is $100, then after that I believe it’s $125 per month after that or they offer smaller packages of 5 and 10 classes.Come and join us!

Austin Myl: I've actually never been to 10th Planet but I've recently been able to train a bit with coach Patrick Hoffman and if he's any indicator of what type of BJJ school this is then I feel inclined to leave a 5 star review where I can. He's an incredible teacher and I'm honestly blown away by his ability to convey important details and improvements to techniques that are both new to me and ones that I'm familiar with. I hope to keep training with Pat as long as possible and if I'm in Vegas I'd love to stop by 10th Planet.
Jason Chen: I've been training at 10th Planet for a year now and have finally gotten around to writing this review. I must say, the size and scale of the facility is truly impressive. There's a ton of space, so you never feel like you'll bump/smash into other training partners, and every class felt like an event, with upwards of 30 people of all skill levels coming together to train and grow.The instructors at this gym were second to none, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to each class. Shout out to Coach Casey Halstead and Andy Varela, with so many students of different levels and backgrounds, the energy in the gym was electric. You could feel the excitement and intensity in the air as everyone worked to improve their skills and push each other to new levels.One of the standout features of this gym was the sheer size of the classes. With so many students in each session, the dynamic was unlike any other gym I've trained at. Despite the size of the classes, the instructors were able to give individual attention to each student, helping them to progress and reach their full potential.In conclusion, if you're looking for a top-notch Jiu Jitsu training experience, with spacious facilities, knowledgeable instructors, and a dynamic community of practitioners, then look no further. This gym is a true gem and I can't recommend it enough. Whether you're a seasoned competitor or just starting out, you'll find a welcoming and challenging environment that will help you reach your goals and grow as a practitioner.

TJ Valdez: Been going to 10P since Feb 2021, and has been hands down the best decision I made for the year.No-Gi all the way.The 3 class times 6am, 11a, 6pm allow for flexibility in a schedule like a signature 10P Rubberguard.Coach Casey and Andy Varela is as legit as it gets, champion caliber instructors right here in the fight Capital of the world.If you're looking for a more Cold Killer competitive champion pace and mentality I highly recommend attending Varela's evening 6pm class.
Jesse Merrick: 10th Planet Las Vegas is awesome! I couldn't have asked for a better gym. I joined about six months ago with no background in martial arts and have loved every second of it. Coach Jesy and coach Pat downtown are great dudes and really take the time to make sure you feel comfortable with whatever they're drilling for the night. The culture is awesome too. There are people of all levels in the class and everyone is super helpful teaching what they know and helping you improve along the way. If you're looking for a Jiu Jitsu gym in Las Vegas 10th Planet in DTLV is the way to go!

Snowy Rodriguez (Victor Rodriguez): UJJ is located in Downtown Henderson on Water St. We enrolled my kid right before grand opening last year and have been a member since. They offer classes for all ages and levels. I highly suggest the trial classes first. The staff is awesome, ready to answer questions and welcomes you with a Gi to borrow before you start. The gym is simple, spacious and sanitized. If you are looking for a place where they train traditional gi & no-gi, UJJ has the best Professor and coaches that will help you become the best BJJ practioner. They encourage everyone to participate in tournaments such as NAGA and Fuji. Schedules are consistent, they recently added one more kids class in the afternoon for summer. The staff always makes sure the kids have fun during halloween, christmas. They put alot of time and dedication for the kids and it doesn't go unnoticed. Proud to have my kid be a part of this team, and looking forward to watching everyone grow with this academy.

We have been with Professor Pedro for three years and have followed Professor because his coaching is solid, he cares about his students on and off the mats. Larry Hon: The instructors at this facility are truly exceptional. I have been undergoing training for approximately a year, and I am extremely satisfied with the quality of instruction. In fact, I was so impressed that I enrolled my daughter when she reached the age of 6, and I have plans to enroll my son here as well when he turns 3. A helpful tip: The 6am classes provide an experience akin to private lessons, offering focused attention and personalized guidance.

Humbled and grateful for them. I have never done any grappling before I began going about 9 months ago. They taught me with great patience and allowed me to grow and learn at my own pace. Confidence is a by product of this incredible place. The work and the desire for all the students to grow and learn is the real foundation of Carlson Gracie Green Valley. Amazing instructors, amazing students. Awesome time rolling. I recently just moved out of Vegas area. I will greatly miss this place. But more importantly I will miss the people.

When you train here it’s something special. Egos get left at the door and people are welcomed in. I consider these folks family and that’s what you get. A good core group of people to train with. Bring your kids and then stay for adult class and you’ll feel right at home. It’s not just another gym. It’s a group of great people that genuinely care.

Prime Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: ATT Nevada is a great place to train. I have known Sensei/professor Alex Davis and his Son Professor Johan Davis for a real long time. This are all long time Martial artists. If you are looking for a great place to train and under a solid leadership you have found your home academy im Las Vegas. BJJ, Judo, Wrestling or any form of grappling, this guys are the best!! These guys understand well the BJJ culture for being Brazilians.

Debrah Banas: My children have been attending classes at ATT for about five months now. They’re conveniently located and have lots of parking. The classes are in the evenings which are also convenient for our schedules. The dojo is clean, the equipment is new and well maintained, they’ve made recent efforts to expand the facility to accommodate bigger class sizes and space. Management is friendly, treats everyone respectfully, and like family. Sensei Alex is extremely knowledgeable, passionate about the sport, treats all his students with respect and encourages them to do well. Sensei Rhenan is great with the kids, commands their attention well, and very patient. He has been a great addition to the dojo. We have unlimited access to all the classes our kids want to join in on and the dojo is open from Monday - Friday so the kids get to rest on the weekends. They also attend the kickboxing or striking classes whenever they can to switch things up a bit during the week. There are children of different ages and experience levels in the classes but the Sensei recognize this and provide added support for those with less experience like my children. The Sensei are also sensitive to creating fair matches for throwing practices and ensure that every child is practicing safe techniques. The families that attend are friendly and there’s no pressure of politics or upselling of any sort. The environment is very open and inviting, there is no favoritism, or cliques.
Karla Goplin: American Top Team has put together a welcoming facility for young kids and adults. Sensei Alex teaches discipline, history all mixed in with a love of martial arts that really connects with his students. Our daughter looks forward to her classes at ATT Nevada each week.

Great mentors and teachers not only in martial arts but for life skills and character building are not only hard to find but very rare. Lisa Larsen [Rundle ES]: CD Young's Karate came to Rundle Elementary school and completed their Live Your Life program with our 5th graders.The program included a 45 minute learning session about ways to not be involved in different types of bullying and ways to use your voice instead of getting physical in different situations, a wristband, a brochure of information, and a challenge. When the challenge was met, the team came back and had a pizza party with our students to talk with them and learn about how they had been doing. The program was completely free and was helpful to our students.The team was easy to work with and schedule with. The team checked up on our students all throughout the year, and I could tell that they truly cared about them. We are already setting up dates to do the program again next year!I would recommend this program to all schools.

Christopher Mills: As prior martial arts student I was looking for a studio that provided a certain type of instruction which would allow my kids not only to grow mentally and physically but spiritually. And after meeting the instructors the first class I was home with Core Fitness and Martial Arts. Mrs Drachen along with her son Mr. Dario Drachen, Mr. Pyne, Mr. Johnson and Ms. Peaking are all unique and supportive in there instruction. The head instructors are honest and display a level of integrity unmatched by any others instructors in there field. My daughter has flourished and became and outstanding martial artist winning 4 state titles and 4 world titles inspiring myself back into training and I've enrolled my two other kids into the program. Now as for the school, the other patents are very supportive and understanding of community. They embrace and cheer each other and when you visit this school you'll see why they are aptly named the Wolfpack. I can go on and on about how great this school is, but the only way to is to see it, if you can you should visit the school and see how every student helps each other. 😊

You'll need more than a casual commitment, but it's worth it.Updating five years later-- I've moved away, but this studio is one thing I miss most about living in Henderson. I can't say enough good things about the instructors and the community we enjoyed as family through participating in the programs here.
