As an absolute beginner I had a million questions; whether renting an instrument was better than purchasing it, etc. Matthew was very polite and patiently answered all my questions, he was very thoughtful and suggested other things I might need like a stand, etc. Other members of the staff who walked by me congratulated me on the purchase and wished me the best on my musical journey! I have bought a cello, an oboe, a few ukuleles and a guitar from them over the years. Everything is high quality, and the service is great.
Kevin VanDyke: I went in to see if they had a capo for classical guitar. Those capos are not alerts in stock other places I’ve went. But sure enough they have em. I like a particular style if classical guitar strap and I’ll be, they had that too. And classical guitar strings as well. I would like a guitar stand. There is One on the floor. I only had $15 left. Ray showed me another style but I liked the style that was on the floor l. so he want and came back with even a lesser price than that.I got everything I wanted to get and all at a reduced Price as marked.

Waynes Grid: First off just based on a one-time visit, and didn't purchase an instrument, I went simply to take a beginner saxophone lesson, after not playing for 35 years. Had an exceptional time with the instructor that made themselves available in less than 24 hours to fit me in, to get me on the right track. I give that instructor five stars for personality, warmth, knowledge, enthusiasm. The staff was also very delightful, especially the young man that helped me get the appointment. Don't recall his name, but he's 10 ft tall and he answers the phone or works the register. Very nice young man. The store was very clean, and was just a pleasure to see. I watched as I waited for my appointment with Jim,... how the employees of this store interacted with a customer there with his son, I think purchasing an alto sax and setting it up. Also booking a class with Jim. Thanks guys!
Luv Bug: This was my first time at this store buying any sort of instrument. My son just joined band in middle school. From my first contact, I have to say it was a great experience! The woman on the phone, Janet?, was amazing. She took time to answer all my questions and was the #1 reason why I chose to go in. Patrick, the manager, helped me with my purchase. He showed me all available trumpets for purchase. Explained the difference and when I chose one, let me know why it was a great choice. I am not familiar with the trumpet. He told me about the different features of the one I picked. I felt confident it was the best buy at a great cost I might add. He made sure I had everything I needed for my son just starting out. We discussed lessons and gave me little bios on the instructors. Service is very important to me when choosing a place to spend my money. I am very happy I decided to purchase from this family owned business.

I called a few places and felt like I was dealing with cars salesmen who weren't helping me. I decided to talk to the teacher at Bob Miller who recommended Violin Outlet to me. So very happy I did.I didn't hear about website listing details and prices as the first thing I heard about "what does your son like to play, let's find him some sheet music to go with it that he'll like" and "what's his favorite color, we'll get a shoulder rest he likes"... Wow, that's a personal touch that everyone should appreciate. Caring about the person more than the sale. Thanks so much Sabrina and we'll be back when it's time to upgrade in a couple/few years!

Jeff Wong: After COVID started, I didn’t play in my community orchestra and my poor stringed friend was so-o-o-o lonely. When things opened up again, I didn’t go back for lack of practice and not wanting to sit in front of the flutes/trumpets. My buddy bought a fiddle, so I dusted off MINE & began playing—it made my collarbone sore. Justin observed how I held it under my chin—he put on a different chin rest. I played for almost ten minutes without pain. At home I played for an hour with no discomfort, aside from not having my music to jumpstart muscle memory. Thank you times a thousand!

They are very knowledgeable, sensitive to the musicians experience level and patient. Facilities are quaint and intimate with a fine selection of price ranges. All quality equipment and we have not regretted a purchase here yet. They make sure you have everything you need out the door without being pushy like some stores. Absolutely recommend for beginners and advanced orchestra players.

Don Sorensen: You guys, this is the best place to get your guitar set up, I purchased a JAMSTICK and it came with basic strings, and the neck was horrible. Daniel is a WIZARD at setup! I 100% recommend his expert work and the whole SIXX GUN family has an awesome open mic night that lots of friends stop by and play and sing together. Even if you are just starting out you are welcomed with open arms. Just the place I love to meet new peeps and hang out with old friends!
