Mich Elle: This was the best customer service I have experienced at any store - hands down. I went in expecting to play a few pianos and walk away, but the prices were too good to walk away from! I purchased a digital piano and Pat delivered it to my apartment in his personal vehicle at no additional charge! One of the keys was not working after I assembled it, so I called the store and explained the situation. They found the same piano in another location, assembled and tested it in store, and scheduled a personal delivery to me the next day. I could not be more impressed. Pat went above and beyond - even calling to check in and remind me about the warranty... should any issues arise with the piano in the next five years, I just need to call the store and they will take care of it. I am confident they will, too, based on this first experience. Thank you, Family Music Centers!

I've had both a guitar and ukulele repaired beyond expectation, purchased instruments, and have also taken lessons here.My 10-year-old is currently taking singing with Marcie. She started about 8 months ago and loves it. Her confidence in singing has grown noticeably and she looks forward to her lesson each week. I take piano with Larry. As an adult beginner I was a little nervous to start. Especially in considering his impressive musical background. He met me exactly where I was at, is encouraging and simplifies the piano in a way I haven't experienced before. He listens to the style of music I'm most inspired by, and curates our lessons around that. We also have experience with Candace, who spent many months with my daughter on flute. The teachers aren't only incredibly skilled in their artistry, but it's obvious they sincerely care about their student's musical journey.I have a lot of good I could say about Family Music. The biggest motivator in keeping me as a return customer, is that they're locally owned and operated by some really awesome people. All of the staff are helpful, kind, and seemingly down to earth. Their customer service feels like talking to your friendly neighbor, which I find to be incredibly refreshing. I love this place and I won't shop anywhere else for what I can find here.
dana fontaine: bought a used 5 string bass here. great experience, good environment. I got to try out the bass and the salesman gave me a great deal couldnt pass up. they dont have a huge selection of electric guitars and basses but I was super lucky to find exactly what I was looking for.

We just came here from a negative experience at another piano store and the experience was night and day. Not only was Pat friendly and helpful but the owner himself took the time to sit down and demo. the piano that I was interested in! When does that ever happen?What a great place. My piano comes in next week! I bought a Kwai mico baby grand! Can’t wait. I’ll keep you posted on the delivery service but I expect it will be a positive experience as well. It just seems to be how they do business here.

I have bought a cello, an oboe, a few ukuleles and a guitar from them over the years. Everything is high quality, and the service is great.

I like a particular style if classical guitar strap and I’ll be, they had that too. And classical guitar strings as well. I would like a guitar stand. There is One on the floor. I only had $15 left. Ray showed me another style but I liked the style that was on the floor l. so he want and came back with even a lesser price than that.I got everything I wanted to get and all at a reduced Price as marked.

Waynes Grid: First off just based on a one-time visit, and didn't purchase an instrument, I went simply to take a beginner saxophone lesson, after not playing for 35 years. Had an exceptional time with the instructor that made themselves available in less than 24 hours to fit me in, to get me on the right track. I give that instructor five stars for personality, warmth, knowledge, enthusiasm. The staff was also very delightful, especially the young man that helped me get the appointment. Don't recall his name, but he's 10 ft tall and he answers the phone or works the register. Very nice young man. The store was very clean, and was just a pleasure to see. I watched as I waited for my appointment with Jim,... how the employees of this store interacted with a customer there with his son, I think purchasing an alto sax and setting it up. Also booking a class with Jim. Thanks guys!
Luv Bug: This was my first time at this store buying any sort of instrument. My son just joined band in middle school. From my first contact, I have to say it was a great experience! The woman on the phone, Janet?, was amazing. She took time to answer all my questions and was the #1 reason why I chose to go in. Patrick, the manager, helped me with my purchase. He showed me all available trumpets for purchase. Explained the difference and when I chose one, let me know why it was a great choice. I am not familiar with the trumpet. He told me about the different features of the one I picked. I felt confident it was the best buy at a great cost I might add. He made sure I had everything I needed for my son just starting out. We discussed lessons and gave me little bios on the instructors. Service is very important to me when choosing a place to spend my money. I am very happy I decided to purchase from this family owned business.

N Devo: Been scouring the internet for a Pioneer DJ XDJ-XZ deck, but ultimately found one in this amazing shop right here in Vegas! Trevor Castetter: Brought in a used accoustic I picked up that was buzzing all over the place. The guys were helpful and fixed the guitar in a day for what I considered to be a reasonably fair price. Guys are knowledgeable and easy to get along with.

James Gomez: Amazing musical instrument store! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and there’s even a cute Yorkshire terrier dog! There’s also a stage where they perform open mic sometime.
John Grod: I'm not a collector, but somehow guitars seem to accumulate in my closet and over time they all wind up needing work. Have tried other shops in Vegas but none come close to Sixx Gun Music. Over the past two years I've had four guitars setup/repaired there and couldn't be happier with the quality of the work. Don't waste your time and money going anywhere else. Bill Edris: Went to the guitar workshop where I built a Tele. Had Daniel's undivided attention as I was the only student, lucky for me. I am all thumbs but Daniel was/ is very patient and passionate about what he does. Just seeing his shop was amazing. Everybody there was friendly, especially Alicia, who bought me a sandwich for lunch. If I lived in Vegas I would take all classes offered. Highly recommended.

Julie Cedillo: This place is the cutest shop! They were able to fix my boyfriend's bass when other shops around town refused to work on it because it was "too much work." Now a bass that wasn't able to work for 6 years works beautifully! The family who owns it is the definition of GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Such a family feel to the shop and they welcome you with open arms. Their cute little dog Randall will greet you at the door too! Highly recommend!
Lazer McDanger: Drove all over town with people telling me "there's no local stores in vegas just use amazon" but I kept searching and found sixx gun music, who went above and beyond to get me what I needed that nobody else in town had. Will definitely be returning from now on, thanks again Daniel!
Don Sorensen: You guys, this is the best place to get your guitar set up, I purchased a JAMSTICK and it came with basic strings, and the neck was horrible. Daniel is a WIZARD at setup! I 100% recommend his expert work and the whole SIXX GUN family has an awesome open mic night that lots of friends stop by and play and sing together. Even if you are just starting out you are welcomed with open arms. Just the place I love to meet new peeps and hang out with old friends!

So a replacement switch that matched my original pedal was very difficult to find.Six Gunn found the switch, ordered it and replaced it in a timely manner and the communication was top notch.Highly recommended.

BRIAN FISHER: Absolutely mind-blowing selection of gear. Stopped by for a set of strings and met a guy named Jim that is deeply passionate and knowledgeable about vintage gear, diagnosing and solving gear problems, and the local music scene. Based on my experience, I'll be coming here first before stepping foot in a big box corporate store, and I encourage you to support local business when possible. The diagnosis fee is quite reasonable and accepting service appears to come with a legit lifetime of enthusiastic practical experience that I simply could not find shopping out the branded shops in the Vegas fishbowl.
Autumn C: Amazing shop! I went in to get a bass strap peg installed and was there for not even 10 minutes. Definitely going again if I need anything else.
Saman Salehi: Jim did excellent work upgrading my Fender Stratocaster with a new Warmoth neck and Floyd Rose bridge. Jim has knowledge and experience to get the job done right. He was friendly and in a couple weeks the guitar is better than I expected. He even did some touch up paint work in the recessed bridge area that matches perfectly. The routing work looks professional. I would recommend Advanced Guitar for anyone interested in quality work done right.

Shanda & The Howlers: I took out my P Bass a few days ago to get ready for our tour in Belgium/Holland. This bass is the model I just fly with so it had been sitting unused for awhile. Much to my horror, I noted an issue with the pickups and we were leaving in a week! I called Jim and he said bring it right in, I got it back two days later all fixed and ready to go with some excellent adjustments as well. This is the second time Jim has done a quick, knowledgeable repair for me. Highly recommend Advanced Guitar. Support the local small businesses!
MURDER BY MEDIA: This is an amazing local business that provides excellent amp and guitar repair and has some amazing vintage gear. They fixed my amp twice and only charged me once which was extremely kind. He also used to build guitars with my dad at Mahoney‘s so I am a little biased.
