sweetwaterspice: This was our second visit to Matteo's at The Venetian in Las Vegas. Although the menu has changed slightly, the food was still top-notch quality. I had the "Handkerchief Pasta" which had been previously on the menu as "Mandili di Seta". I'm not sure why they changed the name, but it was still the best pasta bathed in pesto that I've ever had! My husband ordered the "Gnocchi" which came in a flavorful braised lamb ragu. We tried a cocktail, the "pere ubu" which was OK, nothing overly special. We ordered the "Lingurian Foccacina" to share, which also had an ingredients change now with squash blossoms instead of the arugula topping. To be honest, I liked the previous version with the arugula topping much better. The cheese was also more pungent and the flatbread much softer. Again, some things should not be changed, but this is just my opinion. The servers were attentive, and overall, the experience was good. This is upscale dining, so be ready to dish out a fair amount for dinner. I still recommend it.

Rachael Amato: Good Lord was this food phenomenal. A bit pricey but worth it. I had the fettuccine, husband had the tortellini. Mine had chunks of buttered lobster and zucchini, his was prosciutto stuffed and had truffles. Both were excellent but mine was probably the best pasta i’ve ever had. Garnished with pistachio dust, this dish was perfection. I will probably stop back before I leave to have it one more time.Dietary restrictions: the table next to us had all types of dietary restrictions and they seemed very understanding. Since food is made to order, they are able to omit things.

Raymond Chin: Great tasting Italian restaurant. I tried the calamarta - love the variety of seafood with a hint of a spicy. Pasta was al dente. I thought the Brussels sprout was okay - wish it was caramelized or salted because it just tasted bland. Otherwise, the staff was very professional, and the service was top tier.Ps. Try the cannoli, the shell is thin and the cream is light.

Wine de vin: The risotto is the best.You definitely need to make a reservation before you go. It’s very busy and it’s a super tourist area. It’s good for human watching.Food: risotto is very good. We came for risotto. Also the bread comes with great sauce and olives.Beverage: great quality.

Mr Polo: First off let me applaud Canaletto’s for Ernesto our waiter assistant and Saddi our patient and humble waiter. He did an excellent job with all our requests and made all perfect except we should have stayed longer.Thanks to Massimo the Chef &the Sous chef Willie for serving wonderful food and new tastes in cheeses for my palate.The atmosphere inside St Marks square at the Venetian was wonderful like being in Venice. Was good to get out. The Italian food was done very well. Loved the Ravioli’s and wife her Salmon dish and Bruschetta on toast.Thank you Canaletto’s and podium greeter ladies. Jose Baldonado: The food was good. If you want bread for your table it’s $2 more. We were a party of two so not sure if the cost is more with larger parties.They have a nice seating area under the fake sky. Indoors is nice too. If your want to sit “outside” you should probably make a reservation.

Brandon Rich: Was going to go to Lavo, which we've been to many times but decided to try this instead tonight. We got right in and it was delicious!Git a margarita pizza and ceaser salad to share for apps. Both were great, and we enjoyed the tangy zip of the ceaser dressing. The pizza was good, with strong flavor, but not mind blowing.The chicken Alfredo was quite delicious as was the Rigatoni Alla Vodka. Pretty solid food place. All in all I'd say this was completely worth it but nothing we got made us say it was the best ever, but still solid food.

Matt: Nonas lasagna is excellent. Garlic bread on the side is the perfect compliment. Nice size bar area and friendly staff. Easy access from the strip. Go up the escalators located by the Walgreens next to the palazzo drive. Go left and through the doors once you reach the top. Restaurant is located just inside the doors on the left and buddy's bakery is located across the hall.

The decor is consistent, depending on where your sitting you’re able to watch the chefs prepare food, and they have high ceilings which give it an airy feel.Overall I’m very satisfied with my visit and would recommend them - especially for people who’d like to get away from the hustle and bustle of the casino.

Dana Carrasco: Wonderful experience. Was our first time eating at this location. Our waitress Inez provided excellent service and was very attentive and friendly. We ordered calamari with the never-ending boat of marinara, salad and bread sticks, the Seafood Fettuccine Alfredo, Chicken and Broccoli Fettuccine Alfredo, and Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and the Peach Raspberry Tea was made perfect.
