Henderson Equality Center is always looking for fun, out going people that like having fun, doing exciting things and enjoy being around kids.


Youth Groups meet bi-weekly and offer youth a safe space to unwind, meet others and enjoy fund activities and games. We also have weekly tutoring programs for youth 18 and under.


These include a number of trans-related groups of all ages, from youth, adult social groups. Various trans-focused workshops and programs are designed for trans*-identified and/or questioning individuals.

Senior Men’s Group works to educate senior’s through action by being positive role models and contributing members of the community. Connecting LGBTQ senior’s to the resources needed to make informed decisions.

Adam’s Place has created Camp Cope programs to help children, teens, and families to cope with loss. We provide grief support groups through our Camp Cope Program. Trained volunteer facilitators lead and encourage group members to express the many feelings that are a part of the grieving process. Group members discuss and share activities with others who share similar life-changing experiences. The goals of Camp Cope are to make connections, build resiliency, and healthy coping skills.
