Terry S: I’m on disability now, so I can’t afford to shop at Dillard’s anymore. However, I needed a couple of sport coats for my new calling at church, and the very limited stock at discount stores like Kohl’s and JC Penney are not very nice-looking anymore, nor are they my size. A store at the other end of the mall had two ugly ones and one nice one in 48R, and the nice one was on sale, so I bought it. I still wanted another one, and my wife suggested that I go look at Dillard’s, which I did reluctantly. They had a lot of very nice coats in my size, and one that I particularly liked, and I was willing to pay the price for it because it was similar to one that I owned years ago. I took it to the register and was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was on sale!I’m very satisfied with my trip to Dillard’s.

sacha combs: I got the most adorable pair of vintage Havana's for half the price at Nordstrom Rack. It's my go- to shoes when I hit the Las Vegas strip this summer. Also, I love their line of career clothing for women. Only issue I has was that their restroom, on the day I visited was in a less than satisfactory condition. I was shocked...tissue paper every where on the floor, toilets not clean etc.

C&SB: While this is a nice big department store style Kohl's the selection in their home goods is smaller than I've ever seen in any smaller Kohl's store. The bed and bath looked like a small sale isle. I didn't even see a kitchen area, not that there wasn't, it was just not obvious. The Khol's I'm used to have a very well defined home section with displays of nicer products like countertop kitchen appliances, plates and serving platters etc., a big bedding and bath section. Not to mention a very nice home decor area. This store definitely had the room for it, but it was all condensed around the escalators on the top floor. In other stores there's a whole section where there are pillows and the like lining a tall wall, which is usually at the back of a wall on a huge bedding section and the rest of the home section is spread out to the right of it and is easy to see the nice selections displayed. This stores seems small and seems confined to the the wall by the escalators and just wraps around that. I may have missed something, but being that the section wasn't well laid out or displayed could be the reason.My friend was there to look for a shower curtain, towels and floor mats. The selection was small and inventory was limited, and extremely understocked. My friend was interested in some red towels of which there was 1 bath sheet, 1 washcloth and 1 hand towel. The few isle sections were not only understocked, but also a mess.I don't know what Kohl's foot traffic is like in this mall. This Wednesday before noon and it was slow. It might have been the perfect time to restock and at least straighten up these areas.This size store and being in the Galleria with a Macy's, I guess I expected the displays and inventory would atleast be as nice as every other Kohl's I've been to.Maybe the sales aren't there as they are in other stores. But, I know from experience in retail, having no selection and messy displays shows lack of care for the store and customers experience, and you're not likely to improve traffic if it looks like you don't care or that you look as if you're going out of business.I also think having your customer service area in an office type setting like in every single story Khol's I've seen has a better feel than the one in this store. It's by the mall entrance, but tucked away behind a sea of small displays with an odd and ever changing assortment of things. Storage containers, sunglasses, back packs, random clothing that seems to have spilled over from somewhere else. It just seems to be an obstacle course dump zone for the odd items that they don't know where else to put them and is different every time we are there and never in a good way. It all just ends up camouflaging the customer service counter against the wall. My friend shops Kohl's a lot online and often brings back an item that didn't fit her, or didn't care for in person. This is the only store I've seen with CS some what hidden. The biggest complaint my friend always has is she pays her Khol's bill off after each purchase. She loves the perks, but doesn't like having a balance at all on her card. When she's returned something, they will only put it back on her Khol's card even with that zero balance. Not sure why they require this. She hates it, and says so to me every time she has a return.Other than that, the clothing section seems good. There seems to be a pretty good selection in those areas and the displays look nice and things look attended to. The dressing rooms seem to be clean and ready for guests and the employees are friendly and helpful when asked for assistance. It's just that Home Goods section and the customer service/ returns area that need some work.

Tim Buchanan: I like this Marshall's. Just as much as the Marshall's off of Eastern and Silverado. It's a clean neat looking good department store. One can find a decent set of clothing for a reasonable price. If your looking for shoes. Maybe you should try elsewhere. Although the prices are good. The selection is very limited. Leaving A person with no more then two or three options. No matter your foot size. It's a great place to get shirts pants shorts socks and underwear. Not bad either if your looking for something that smells nice to spray on yourself. They do have inexpensive alternatives in that area. Great place to buy a few outfits. But I wouldn't buy a watch from these guys. Not one I'd be proud of anyways. The watches and jewelry are cheap. But the clothes are great. Name brands and great prices. Seem to be the clothes theme. They do have some house hold items. Some a little over priced. Others right in the ballpark. Just depends I suppose on one's budget. All in all I like it here. I probably shop here for socks pants and shirts on average twice a month I suppose. Good place. And the strip mall it's located in . Has other good stores as well. A Ross is a couple doors down. And one may have better luck there with the shoes.

Louis Payne: A clean environment with relatively wide aisles. The selection, like any other similar store, varies widely in quality however there is always some form of deal to be found. The staff is present and kind without being overbearing or off putting for your shopping experience. The main fault is the wait for checkout which is a direct consequence of insufficient lanes available at peak hours.
