Christian Faucher: No name authentic mexican restaurant. Food was great . the staff that took care of us was friendly and interacted with us constantly. The son of the owner even came to enquire about our food when he heard how far we came from. This was a spot that was referred to us by locals and we were not disappointed. Prices are fair for such good food.Kid-friendliness: Brought our kids that our still a little picky about what they eat. The kid menu had options that was more to their taste.
Brandon Paul: First time here on 7-7-23. Was here with family when they first opened at 10am. We live nearby and decided to give it a try. What a pleasant surprise this is. The food tastes all homemade. The service was great. We were attended to but not hovered over. I had a cheese enchilada and a ground beef taco. My kid ate a cheese crisp. We both polished off our plates. Excellent food. And because it matters to some, they have Coke, not Pepsi.

Patrick Jones: Spectacular! Angel was a great server. The food was super good. We really like Mexican and have tried a few around Henderson. There are many average places, but Chavelo's is off the charts.You'll pay around $20 a person, but it's worth it.

Then I got the chicken fajita with veggies taht was a veryyyy big dish and my mom got a quesadilla and she also loved it. For desert we ordered a churro Sunday and omg was it ginormous and yummy so yummy that my mom ended up eating the whole thing

Garrett Faulconer: Recently stayed at GVR in Las Vegas and thanks to my AMEX I had some Uber cash to burn. Being new to the city I thought I try something “not chain”. After looking for a while I came across Me Gusta Tacos hidden amongst the other food stops in The District. Checked out their menu and decided to order a Surf N Turf Burrito to go.Showed up to pick up my order and was immediately greeted with a Hello! Very nice staff. My food was there and ready to go. No issues at all and sent on my way. All I could ask for.The meal came with the burrito, some chips and a red and green salsa. In a word…YUM! The burrito was delicious and the chips tasted fresh! All said and done the whole thing was a little under $20 so not TOO bad price wise either.The only other note I could give to this place besides its being a LITTLE pricey for a burrito and chips was the ambiance. In my opinion very bland. Had planters with plants on the all white walls. Just wish it had some character.Other than that, great food and will for sure be back!
