4worldlovers: Created by locals, for locals, the Local is a Henderson wine bar meant to provide “the ultimate wine experience” to the community. Since opening in the summer of 2019, our friendly staff has been sharing their love of great food and world-class wine at our Henderson restaurant. We believe that great wine is for everyone, from the master sommelier to the total novice. There’s no judgment here — just helpful knowledge and guidance through our extensive wine menu.


The Local is the second restaurant concept from Las Vegas hospitality duo Chris Connors and Li Hsun Sun. This time, they collaborated with real estate agent Randy Maher and designer Amy Maher to create the top Henderson restaurant for great drinks and light fare.

Located in an intimate, airy space in The District at Green Valley Ranch, The Local proves that you don’t have to go to the Las Vegas Strip for an excellent glass of wine. We stayed close to home and created the perfect place to share a bottle of wine and the company of friends after work or on a warm Saturday afternoon.

But that doesn’t mean we didn’t bring some of the Strip to our Henderson restaurant. We paid attention to every detail, like our custom wine buckets. We repurposed old light canisters from the world-famous Bellagio Fountain, and they’ve been cleaned up and powder coated to keep your wine cool.

The wine list at The Local has been carefully curated to bring you over 60 different new world and old world wines. Our selections include sparkling wines and champagnes, whites and rosés, red wines, and dessert wines.

Some of our options will be familiar, like pinot noir, merlot, and chardonnay. But there are also wines in our cellar that may be new to the average wine drinker. Varietals like Albariño, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and Barbera may not be household names, and that’s why we want to bring them to you in our Henderson wine bar. Our helpful team of wine experts (including our certified sommelier) will walk you through the wine list to find the perfect vino to suit your palate.

If you can’t settle on just one, we also offer a series of wine flights. You can sample flights of New World wines from California, Argentina, and New Zealand. Or try a flight of Old World wines from Italy, France, and Spain. We also have a flight of staff selections if you want to put yourself entirely in our hands!

We’ve worked hard to bring you the best wine bar in Henderson, but that doesn’t mean our offerings are limited to wine. We also have draft beer for those days when a glass of wine just won’t hit the spot.

We love to feature local Las Vegas breweries like Banger Brewing, Big Dog’s Brewing Company, and Bad Beat Brewing. We also bring in some of the best beers from national breweries. And finally, there’s our cocktail menu. The cocktails at The Local are mostly updated versions of the classics — with a few modern additions for good measure.

The Butterfly Gin & Tonic, for example, is not your grandma’s G&T. Vibrant purple Empress 1908 gin is made from a unique blend of 8 different botanicals, giving it a flavor like none other. It’s mixed with Fever Tree Tonic from London — the absolute best tonic we could find. And to top it off, it’s garnished with a dash of lemon zest and a real flower. The resulting drink is a violet-hued beauty — and it tastes as good as it looks.

Then there’s our White Peach Cosmo. Instead of astringent cranberry, we add delicate white peach for a light and refreshing cocktail in the perfect shade of soft pink, garnished with a peach ring.

Stopped at this bar for lunch. Best service we've found! Our waitress was great. She was very friendly and took great care of us. The food was great. The sign read best bar food and they weren't kidding!

Coolest bar staff at any local place nearby. Food is very exceptional compared to any other bar. Machines pay out all the time! Go See Courtney, Steph, Lindsay and Adam!

The Bar crew is amazing!!! For good food, great service, and total amusement it's a must!
