Dianna Carlton: We were excited to see the new additions to the Visitor's Center on our most recent trip! It is a great spot to pop in and cool off after walking the many trails throughout the park.The Wetlands staff does an exceptional job at answering questions from curious little minds, as well as offering a variety of programming.It is a blessing to have this gem in our community!

Mrs. Joshua Gaines: indoor cafe/charging station. The employees are always helpful and full of good information. The air conditioned bathrooms have both hot water and soap and are always spotless.There is also an observation deck where you can use the binocular telescopes for free to check out part of the Las Vegas valley.Each month they have new classes and activities designed to educate and entertain people of all ages - many of the activities offered are free.My husband and I have spent countless hours there over the past two years and consider it one of our main hangouts. We have a much deeper appreciation for the wildlife and plants. We have learned and experienced so much magic that wouldn't have been possible without the Nature Preserve. Thank you.

The Western National Parks Association operates the park store from within the visitor center. It's stocked with books about the park and the region; Native American arts, jewelry and crafts; posters; outerwear; postcards and maps. Purchases are tax free and support park educational programs.

They were clean and taken care of when I went to use them. TANIESHA W: Perfect day to be here. It was cloudy & a little drizzle, so it wasn't hot or humid. I recommend you arrive before noon. There's less of a crowd, so photo ops are great. We did the $30 tour pkg & it was well worth it. We were actually inside the dam & got awesome pics. The tour guides were amazing. FYI, the dam does not have A/C, so if you arrive & the temp is over 100, the dam will be 20-30 degrees hotter.

Jacque Webb: Breathtaking is the only way to describe this. My son made sure to include this in my birthday trip. We walked all along the dam, reading the signs. We went on the tour underneath the dam as well. They have a large collection of historic photos, news clippings, and items from way back. The tour guides are exceptional in their knowledge. They love to share their knowledge and welcomed questions. This will take most of your day so be sure and allow plenty of time. It is truly incredible.
