Sharon Gainsburg built her home and studio at the New Jersey shore, where she was an active participant in the arts community.
After working with clay, wood, metal and plaster, Sharon understood that she could best express and share her creative voice through stone carving.
Her fascination with the origin of great sculptors, led Sharon to Italy where she worked near the marble quarries of Michelangelo. Inspired by the Renaissance, she explores with unlimited freedom in the abstract expression of her ideas, feelings and philosophies, through the carving of stone.
Sharon exhibits widely throughout the United States. Her work is found in numerous private collections, as well as offices of corporate enterprises, such as Nabisco, NJ Power & Light, USA Today and more.
Over the years, Sharon has been featured and had her sculpture artwork reviewed in many publications and several TV programs, such as Vegas PBS Art Scene and more.
Here, Sharon opened her new Gallery & Workshop Gainsburg Studio, where she displays her latest artwork, features work by other Las Vegas artists and offers the popular Stone Carving class,

What a great, original, one-of-a-kind piece of art each piece is...I just couldnt believe what a difference it had made to one of the champagne bottles i had purchased for my best friends wedding. She was so amazed and said honestly it was her favorite gift out of everything she received. And, how it was so thoughtful and how she had the only one. That is what everyone needs to know. If you are so lucky to know about Art in the Cellar and have something you have etched or engraved, you're lucky because not too many people have items that are done like the ones he does. He can do anything too!! I just recently found out that now he can actually incorporate any color to any engraved areas...wow!!!
