If you’re like some other reviewers here and can’t handle all 3 of those at once, go to Guitar Center and save yourself the tears. Show up on time with your amp and your money and Phil will make it better. It’s that simple.In case anyone cares, last year Phil fixed up my crackly old poorly modded noisy as heck Orange OR120 to sparkling condition. Tube socket replacements, humbucking supply rewire, recap, biasing, mod wiring extension, bent board replacement, brand new tubes, and full cleaning & testing with photo documentation and in person walk through. Obviously it was worth every penny. I am about to bring some more high wattage 70s tube amps to Phil again along with a lower wattage one from the 60s and I don’t need a clown car drive by review to be the first thing I see on Google when I look up the address, so this better go through.

Finn Hammer: Someone told me there was no one in the valley to do quality amp repair. This was distressing news, until I came across AAR. I brought Phil the Amp Medic my JCM800 and Belair 212, and let me tell you... the doctor knows what's ailing your noise maker. He knows what everybody needs. I would not recommend anyone but Phil if you need your tube amp serviced. Top notch and worthy of high dollar, but his rates are actually very reasonable. Lou Neustadt: I recently took an older marantz am/fm receiver to repair.I told Phil,the owner,no rush.This is a very busy place as he does all the work.He looked into fixing the unit but not enough time to take it apart with all the other work at hand.I picked it up with my deposit.Not sure if I will find someone as honest & knowledgeable.If he has time in the near future,I will bring the receiver back.
