To further these goals in the children we serve, Green Valley Lutheran Preschool & Kindergarten offers religious orientation classes for all parents who are not members of our church fellowship, the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, so that parents can know and assent to what we are teaching their children about life's ultimate questions.

Only in this way can a true partnership between faculty and parents be forged so that children can reach their full potential as individuals in their immediate family, the family of God and the family of mankind.

This is a free event for our school families (past & present) and for members of GVELC and our sister churches!

We will have a trunk or treat, games, a petting zoo, a train ride, a haunted house, a DJ and popcorn treats!

There will be taco plates available as a preorder purchase before the event. 3 handmade tacos for $6. There will be snacks available for purchase the night of the event.

Developmental milestones are guidelines to guide child care professionals as well as parents of developmental progress. They are milestones and behaviors and physical skills that children develop over time. Every developmental milestones has a normal range in which that child may reach a specific milestone.

Milestone Overview: Mile stones are what one can expect to see during various phases of development and can help caregivers and families plan appropriate activities. Identifying delayed milestones is crucial as research has shown that early intervention started sooner versus later ends up with child having better outcomes. Examples of developmental delay service include: speech, physical and occupational therapy.

Gross /Fine Motor: This category involves the use of muscles and physical milestones. Gross motor involves sitting up, standing, crawling and walking. Fine motor involves eye hand coordination, manipulating objects with hands and dexterity

Language and Hearing: This category includes communication both verbal and non-verbal.
