Curtis Harness: An amazing church body and group. This church really has a large focus for kids and teens; they offer schooling options, great Sunday services, Bible studies, seminary classes, counseling, Trail Life USA for boys, American Heritage for girls. These groups are not like Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts; they’re far better in my opinion because they focus their activities in a Godly environment and with the knowledge and practice of Bible principles always being applied to your children’s education process.The list really goes on and on, and there’s not enough good things to say about this group or their staff. Even if it’s not your main Church, it’s worth going out of your way to connect up with one of their groups; they’re a fantastic body of Christ followers and are a model example of making disciples of their nation.

Lee Martin: Amazing church! I would move away from Vegas but I don’t think I’d ever find a church community like this. Their worship is genuine and they listen for Holy Spirit and allow Him to move. So if you are used to 6 songs in 30 minutes for worship, their worship might be different. But it’s real. I’ve never felt God’s presence like I do here. Their pastors are so wonderful. The church community is full of wonderful people.
tracee hashimura: My first time at this church was today and the holy Spirit definitely touched my heart during worship, tears were coming down my face, and the pastor is so funny I was laughing out loud so many times and he is very anointed by God. Their prayer team was so wonderful and would explain everything in detail. The worship team was so awesome, all the people there are very nice and now this is going to be my forever home. I actually left church and remembered what they were preaching on LOL

We are a loving community being discipled towards a mature relationship with the Trinity. The worship is so holy! The senior pastors, Chris and Carley Ritchie, are phenomenal people. Our pastoral team and leaders are anointed and release heaven every service. Care Pastor Wayne Ritchie and his wife, Margo are very wise. House Prophetess, Dr. Tony Robinson has a fresh Word often! Youth Leaders Jerah Robinson and Josh Moss lead the way for healthy community and holy fellowship among our teens and children’s ministries, respectively. Our guest speakers are Holy Spirit filled, and teach wisdom and faith. We have strong Intercessory and Altar prayer teams, and a strong body of believers who demonstrate the love of Jesus towards each other and those in our communities. This is a Holy Spirit filled, speaking in tongues, soak in His presence kind of church. You will never be the same!
Cheryl Palmer: Googled churches near me and this one kept coming to my mind. Decided to go this morning but was Leary bc of some of the comments about judgmentalism not friendly etc. But I really felt this was where God wanted me to go. They were super friendly and welcoming. The praise and worship was refreshing and God’s presence was definitely there. The sermon was amazing and def what I needed to hear. Went forward for prayer and it was also exactly what I needed. I felt like a huge weight had lifted off of me. The Care pastor came back over to me and spoke to me some more and told me today was a new day. Again, just what I needed to hear. I am SOOOOOOO glad I listened to the Spirit and went anyway despite the comments. If you’re on the fence about going, give it a try. I know as a previous church leader, u can be distracted or someone says something to you that is upsetting and if someone comes up to u right after that, u can sometimes respond harshly or maybe not friendly. We are all human beings and trust me as a leader, the enemy can throw all kinds of things against you and it can cause us to not respond well. I encourage those with bad experiences to please try it again. I hope I am making sense. I am tired and sugared up from lunch. Definitely will be back.

I personally have been attending for 4 years and will be forever grateful for Pastor Zack's passion to teach his community about how important theology is. I've learned that at the cross, it wasn't Jesus in the hands of an angry God, but God in the hands of angry sinners.
Brandon Singh: I’ve never experienced a place where I not only instantly felt the presence of God when I walked through the doors, but a place where I felt welcomed, loved and not judged by anyone. Pastor Zack, Pastor Rachelle and the entire ministry team at Encounter Church are a true example of what it looks like to have your heart completely yielded to Papa. Not to mention, the worship... in my twelve years of being a Christian, I’ve never experienced such pure, and holy worship. Papa God never fails to kiss every single one of our worship gatherings. Do yourself a favor and come to one of our services!

NITA SROKAMYER: As a newcomer to the church I feel very welcomed. Parishioners gladly welcome you to their Church. They have several Bible studies during the week. They answer the phone when I called on Sunday which surprised me and I talked to the pastor directly. Considering I don't drive I've acquired friends at church that are willing to pick me up which is a godsend.
Luis Moreno: I moved to Henderson, NV this past December and the pandemic restrictions prevented me from attending a church in person. During this time, I decided to visit the websites of some of the local churches in the Henderson/Las Vegas area to listen to the preachings of each church so that I can get an idea of which church I was going to attend once the pandemic restrictions were lifted. After listening to the preaching that is being expounded and taught from Pastor Daniel Ozuna at Faith Christian Fellowship, I knew that this was the church that I wanted to attend once things opened up again. Being led to this church was like being led to an oasis in the middle of a dry desert. God’s Word is treated with the utmost reverence and respect by pastor Daniel during his sermons. In his preaching and teaching, he carefully walks God’s people through the biblical text and provides many proof-texts to show that the words being spoken are God’s Words and not his own. The name of Jesus Christ alone is exalted throughout the worship and preaching. I finally got the opportunity to attend this church in person last Sunday, and I am so grateful to the Lord for leading me to this awesome congregation.

As soon as you walk in, you are welcomed by more than greeters, the pastors will go out of their way to say, hello.Sunday services are lead by Pastors and staff who are very knowledgeable of the Bible and it's teachings. This church offers great opportunities to grow in your faith, for the whole family. Everyone who attends this church is very nice and always offers a smile to any newcomers. The 2 pastors are very well known, originally served fron a mega church in Henderson. They both have a positive following and are blessed by God to teach His Word. Sin City offers 1 service on Sunday, along with Bible study groups inside and out side of church. This may fit your needs, but if not, you can watch the service via website.5 stars for 2 great families who love their community and chose to follow God!

Bruce Kennedy: This is a great local community church. The pastor is a good-hearted man who really cares about the people. The associate pastors are doing a great job of keeping everybody moving in the right direction. They have some fantastic small groups where a lot of people care about each other and work to grow in their Christianity. If you are looking for a small church that has a community feel with a lot of people who care for everyone, this is the place to go. Essentially, it is a non-denominational Bible based church. Everyone is welcome to come and learn about God's Word.

Ms. J: Love the Christmas nativity play as it should be, they did in December. People are friendly and warming.....just wish it was a traditional style church as I been searching for with pews etc, it's a newer style w/folding seats to me looking like a show about to start. And no Wednesday night church service. It's not bad for a Baptist church in Vegas though compared to others I've attended. But, I still yet to find a southern Baptist traditional Church local, to call mine yet w/Wednesday night services, active, all together as family, often church events, like potlucks etc, where you spend more time with your people, and not cut off right after service. Being in a city with such sin, you would think... churches might have more a heavily active events "together", not groups to split up everyone. Expecially Wednesday night service, for people who work grave/nights and can't attend Sunday day service. But no.. I still attend Baptist churches out of state in Oklahoma, Utah and California when possible. I do recommend this church if seeking a Baptist church thou. Good worship & pastor!

Chaplain Tina Bueno: Beautiful Living Nativity every Christmas season. Free hot chocolate and cookies and friendly people serving. Live animals and a great delivery of the most important message during the Christmas season!!

Kevin Cruz: I have attended many churches and GVBC is by far the most loving and attentive church family I have experienced. The word of God is in the center of everything from the services to the small groups or Bible studies. Our pastor teaches the word of God and uses the Bible to do so. I encourage you to come and worship Jesus with us!!!!

The Pastor is not only an administrator but he also is a teacher. Can say enough about this church.
