Annie: Dr. Fu is great! I have an autoimmune disease that effects my skin, and most dermatologists struggle with treatment, but not her. She is really knowledgeable about dermatology and offers a wide range of treatment options from topicals, oral medications, injections, to natural remedies. I really appreciate how understanding she is and how she doesn’t push anything specific my way that she didn’t think I would need. My insurance isn’t in network with them, so the visit does run on the pricier side, but I still go to her because I really like her as a doctor. Receptionists and medical assistants are also great, they always respond to any questions within 24 hours.

Joan Klotz: I fought lichen planus and lichen sclerosus for 4 years and was desperate to find help. I was referred to Dr. Samlaska by a friend who told me that he treats this auto immune disorder. He put me on a medication and after several months of taking the medication I can say I am about 95% cured. It has been a godsend to be able to be rid of the effects of both these diseases. I am most grateful to Dr. Samlaska for helping me find relief and a cure for the symptoms.
ash: Thank you Dr. Samlaska for seeing my 6 week old daughter on such short notice.We had taken our daughter to a pediatrician the day prior because her neck and face had a red rash. Our child was prescribed a medication by the pediatrician which began causing discoloration. The warning label on the medication stated to contact a physician immediately if we noticed any discoloration. At this point, we decided to take our baby to Academic Dermatology as we thought it would make more sense to see a dermatologist for a skin condition.Dr. Samlaska's got us in on very short notice and advised us that she had been prescribed a cream by the pediatrician which can be toxic for a child her age. Dr. Samlaska prescribed a different cream and we are already seeing positive results in the first 24 hours.I wish we had gone to see Academic Dermatology sooner, but we are very happy that we did see Dr. Samlaska when we did.

He has been treated with nothing but kindness, compassion, and professionalism since we started coming here. Dr. Samlaska speaks to my son with such kindness that my son no longer has anxiety going for his appointments there. His acne has cleared up and I could not be happier with the plan that my son follows.

She is quick, thorough, intelligent, and very professional, but still knows how to have a good time with her PT’s. I highly recommend this dermatology office, it’s very affordable and they are VERY experienced.

Tiffani Tonkinson: He is very skilled, thorough, and competent! He’s an excellent diagnostician. He diagnosed melanoma on one of my loved ones and quickly treated it. Basically, he saved his life! He also diagnosed squamous cell carcinoma and treated it on another of my loved ones. I’m grateful for Dr. Samlaska.
