Can Can Electric: I really can't understand the low rating , as a contractor in the area for over 20 years I have never had a bad experience at this department Yes is the online thing a small problem and yes not opening on Friday a small problem but so is trying to keep cost down for the city , but somehow I had a permit go through and sent to us just last Saturday which tells me the henderson building department is doing their best to try to get things going on a smooth basis and every single one of their staff seems professional and courteous

Hoover Dam has completed the Visitor Center theater level renovation and elevator upgrade projects. We are again offering full Powerplant and Dam Tours. Guests may purchase tickets for Visitor Center Exhibit Center and Power Plant tour tickets in person or on-line. Dam tour tickets are available in-person only on a first-come first-served basis. The Lower Colorado River Multi-Species Conservation Program (LCR MSCP) was created to balance the use of the Colorado River water resources with the conservation of native species and their habitats. The program works toward the recovery of species currently listed under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). It also reduces the likelihood of additional species listings. The program area extends over 400 miles of the lower Colorado River from Lake Mead to the southernmost border with Mexico, and includes lakes Mead, Mohave, and Havasu, as well as the historic 100-year floodplain along the main stem of the lower Colorado River. Joseph Ostrowski: Great place to work with a great mission supporting water delivery on the Colorado River, Lake Mead, and Hoover Dam. Been working here for 15 years and have had great supervisors and peers who make it fun. Employee survey shows it's consistently rated higher than other Federal Govt agencies. Small town atmosphere, though many employees live in Henderson also.
