We offer combo classes in Ballet/Tap and Hip Hop/Tumble. These classes teach dance basics and proper class behavior.

These high energy classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of dance while having fun and making friends.

Technical classes to push your dancer’s skill set. These high-level classes are for dancers who have prior training.

Our award-winning competitive team known as IDC Company is for dancers who are ready to take their training to a more serious commitment. This is for students who live and breathe dance as their passion.

IDC Company is for ages five and up. Auditions are held in the spring. Dancers in this program must have a strong desire to grow as a dancer and want to be part of a team.

At IDC we refer to our two locations as East and West. Only a half mile apart, both are next to the Horizon Drive and Horizon Ridge Parkway intersection. Our biggest dance space has over 2,000 square feet! Both studios have parent viewing that is live streamed in the lobbies.

At Moving and Grooving, preschoolers can enjoy a space specially designed with their needs in mind and elementary students can begin their dance journey intimidation free!

Moving and Grooving is a open concept, boutique style dance studio dedicated to the very young child from 18 months old to school age children up to 10 years old.

Preschoolers will enjoy a whimsical space all their own at Moving and Grooving without the anxiety of leaving their parent behind a closed door or the distraction of numerous big kid students bustling around the studio.

In that same respect, Moving and Grooving is the perfect place for the older beginner to start their journey in dance lessons without the intimidation of the long term, competitive or pre-professional dancer.

At Moving and Grooving we teach a number of different dance styles. Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Acrobatics. Most of our classes at Moving and Grooving are combination classes to build a well rounded foundation in dance.

In class, costumed performances happen twice a year at Moving and Grooving. The studio magically transforms into a theater for our winter and summer showcases. This is a fun and exciting time for the dancers to dress up and show off their hard work to friends and family in a casual and familiar environment.

At Moving and Grooving we really care about creating friendships. In order to provide a time and space for the students to get to know one another and have more of a hangout or playtime environment we host bi-monthly Dance, Play and Hang (Parent Night Out) events. You drop the kids off with us to enjoy pizza, crafts, games, dance and you enjoy an evening out on your own.

Moving and Grooving is dedicated to teaching the whole child to develop important life skills such as acceptance, empathy and compassion in addition to building a strong foundation in dance.
