Unlike many others, Linda Hawley is up to date with mental health treatment and uses state of the art technology and teaches you about the very complex issues of what is going on in your brain in a way that is easy to understand. Linda Hawley works with you, rather than just telling you. So many other providers make patients wait forever, see them for 5 minutes, and just keep pushing more and more medications. This is not the case at Access Psychiatric. In addition to the amazing work Linda Hawley does there is the very intelligent, patient advocate, Daysha. Recently, I was prescribed a very expensive medication that of course my insurance company did not want to cover. My cost $1368.44. Daysha did everything she could from her end in lightning pre authorization speed. My cost then $250.00 co-pay. Then Daysha did something unheard of she educated me about what my rights were with the insurance company and told me how to go about challenging this. I didn't think it would work but I followed her advice. My cost now $5.00 copay. Even my pharmacist was shocked I got this medicine covered for just $5.00. The vast majority of providers take weeks to get back to you with insurance and other issues. Daysha is able to help right away because of her vast knowledge and most importantly she truly is a patient advocate. If she is unavailable at the moment Clarisa will always ask if there is something she can do to help you, and is very patient and understanding with those that have communication difficulties. Never making you feel judged or embarrassed. We have all heard from providers that they put patients before profits only to be treated like cattle so they can make more money. Not at Access Psychiatric Associates. Like a lot of people, I've felt like there was a missing piece of the puzzle in life and was amazed at how quickly Linda was able to zero in on it and offer effective treatment. Linda is extremely knowledgeable, non-judgmental, and easy to work with. She's very caring and takes the time to make sure questions are answers and understood.In addition to that, her staff is incredible. Calls are answered immediately, after hours messages always promptly returned, and issues are taken care of immediately. It really doesn't matter if your doc is the greatest if the staff isn't willing to put in the work with your insurance and your pharmacy if / when needed, or you can't reach someone to take care of something that comes up.
