Peter Brody: Pick up via shuttle at Mandalay Bay was super easy and efficient. The rides about 45 to 50 minutes and you truly feel like you’ve gone somewhere. The kayaks are waiting for you on the banks of the river, and they’re very easy to maneuver, and do as a first timer. My only suggestion would be you’ve got to be in decent shape as you do all the work and a pair of gloves would be a big help as I ended up with two blisters. Also in the heat of July, I wouldn’t say it was the most enjoyable and I’d rather have done it in either the spring or the fall. Understanding this is an abnormally hot summer, So maybe it would be OK going forward. The cave was great to see the green water. However, I thought we would be a little bit deeper into a cave and it’s really more of a small indentation in the rocks. The snack was great and the stop at the small beach. Gave us a chance to cool off in the water. Dave, who was our guide and driver was excellent and his knowledge was great. Overall very good and if not for mother nature, it would’ve been perfect.

First timers are helped and instructed and keeping up with the group from the start.Pickups from hotels or self drive available.Lots of photo opportunities and our guide took lots of photos too.I researched the different company’s before booking and the smaller group size and hotel pickup were the deciding factors and I wasn’t disappointed.I highly recommend this trip if you want a day with good company and beautiful scenery away from the crowded strip.

Gemma Bosson: Wow, what a trip!!!Venture out we're just the best! They took care of everything. From the permits to access Hoover Dam and equipment and getting us on the water to lunch and some fantastic photography. 📷Blair picked us up from our hotel and took us to meet our tour guide EJ and dropped us off at the Hoover Dam. We couldn't want for nothing the whole trip, these guys had it all covered.The trip was a 12mile kayak fro Hover Dam to willow beach, EJ kept us as a steady pace there was no rushing, plenty of stops to soak up the beauty of the place and hot springs along the way. There was plenty of little caves to explore and all the while EJ was on hand the whole time with lots of interesting information, pointing out wildlife and taking great pictures for us.At just under 1/2 way we stopped for tasty lunch and some refreshing ice cold water 😋 before we continued on to Emerald cave which was breath takingly beautiful before we carried on to our final destination at Willow beach where Blair was waiting for us with a smile. The guys loaded up all the gear for us and took us back to our hotel.Overall this was the best trip we have ever done and I totally recommend it or even just the half day tour. If you are going to do it make sure it's with Venture Out, you will not be dissapointed!!!Thanks Venture out we've had the best time and some amazing memories.

If you're looking for an experience you soon won't forget, I cannot recommend Blair and Venture Out enough. Capping the group sizes to ensure small groups allows for a personalized experience none of the other companies we saw out on the water can compete with. If you're a newby or never done a guided adventure in a small group before, you don't know what you dont know, so take it from someone thats done many expeditions - the number of participants makes a world of difference. From frozen and chilled water, to a tasty lunch, and a boat load of water guns, Blair ensured we had everything we needed to have a fantastic and memorable day. From beginning to end, it was smiles and laughter all around. By far the highlight of our trip to Vegas! We'll definitely be back to do more adventures with Venture Out. 10/10

He has wonderful stories and information regarding the history, landscape, and water features of the region.Since our timing was good, in the small group setting, we were able to revisit the emerald cave twice. We visited the echo cave too.The best part of the tour was the individual attention to all attendees. Blair chooses to keep his tours to a small size, so everyone has a worthwhile trip.My sister didn’t have kayaking experience; Blair kindly helped us make the right decision regarding the type of kayak, that would be best. The area can sometimes become windy, and increase the difficulty. It’s about a 5 mile round trip tour. It can be easily completed if you go at a slow pace, for beginners.This event can be completed by most people, but the small group size improves success. This feature sets their tour group apart from others.In our group, most were seasoned kayakers. With Blair’s guidance, he ensured that everyone would have a great experience. Blair ensured that everyone felt confident; I will definitely bring the rest of our family on this same tour.Well done, Blair!

It was a small group with lots of attention given to answer questions and provide feedback on ways to improve kayak skills for comfort and enjoyment. If you aren’t a big talker - no worries such a small group that you can go w the flow. Lunch was provided and my husband really enjoyed it. We will be back.

He took the time to explain everything to us - from how to get into the kayak to what to do if we come across big waves.The level of care on the tour was unmatched - from having water bottles and sunscreen in every kayak to packing us the most delicious lunch. If you want to get off the strip and enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of Nevada, don't think twice about signing up. Just do it. You will not regret it. I truly cannot recommend it enough.

Medina I: I went on the Kayak Emerald Cave Tour today with my friends. Everything from the pickup to the drop off was wonderful. Our tour guide, Blair, was fantastic. Half of our group was experienced and the other half not as much. He helped make the process so easy and a lot of fun. The cave was beautiful and we even swam in the river a little. 10/10 would do again.

He showed us a couple great hidden locations, brought food / water for us, and we all jumped into the water. He was very accommodating and wanted us all to have a safe and fun experience. And, honestly, no matter what the temperature is outside, just go!! You won't feel it on the water, the water will keep you cool as you splash through.
Alex Fernandez: Venture out Vegas is the best guided kayaking tour in town. I wouldn't want my money going anywhere else for this experience. Blair was amazing from beginning to end and he is really knowledgeable about a lot of animals and historical markers on the river. Plus he makes it fun!! Way to go Blair and Venture out Vegas!! Becki Davis: Great trip to Emerald Cave with Blair! I chose Venture Out Vegas because they appeared to offer smaller and more personal group tours. Sure enough, our total group was made up of 7 people plus Blair. We saw big horn sheep, a bald eagle and chuckwallas. It was a perfect day. Blair even picks people up takes them back to their hotel on the Strip!
