Christine Yoo: If you haven’t checked this place out, you’re missing out. They have some of the most delicious and moist cupcakes I’ve ever tried. Definitely check out the West End cupcake which is an earl grey cupcake with blueberry buttercream.This is the only place I get cupcakes from now because they’re that good. They are not super sweet like those pure sugar cupcakes. These have very distinct flavor that you’ll enjoy.
Jennifer Aveleno: My husband and I made a special trip to this bakeshop because they support teachers. I'm not usually a fan of cupcakes because I don't eat frosting, but every once in a while, we want an extra treat. We were early greeted right when we came in the door, and the smell was heavenly. It would be worth driving out of your way simply for that scent. We picked out the funfetti and chocolate cupcakes. The chocolate was very rich. It was moist and very tasty but needs a glass of milk to go with it. The funfetti was one of the best cupcakes I've ever had. It was light, sweet but not overly so, and we could have easily eaten a dozen more. I highly recommend it and will be heading back to get one in the future.
Brittani Jones: This was for my daughter’s seventh fairy party! She was over the moon, excited about the hidden dragon at the bottom. Every single person that walked into our house, was gasping at how beautiful the cake was and the detail that went into it! If you’re looking for a specialized, artistic, delicious cake with amazing service… Showboy Bakeshop is where it’s at! They even used the exact fairy decorations I sent in an email and put edible fairies on the cake! Almost forgot to mention, the bottom was chocolate with raspberry filling and the top was vanilla with chocolate fudge filling… They were both superb!

Not only that they came from across town to deliver for my son’s birthday. I believe in shopping local always. And Candi’s cake stand will now be our mainstay. I cannot emphasize enough that customer service is amazing and kind. Did I forget to mention reasonably priced! Take into consideration that this type of cake takes time and I asked for two different types of flavors. And without batting an eyelash they did just that. I cannot speak better things!

Samantha: Wow. I happened to pass by and craving sweets. I grabbed a bread pudding and strawberry cupcake to go. Let's just say I am coming back and buying the whole stock. The bred pudding is made of cinnamon rolls and it is soooo delightful even a day later. The strawberry cupcake was perfectly moist and airy. Both were not overly sweet. A wonderful place. Definitely come visit and grab something or everything!

Geoffrey Lavell: The only complaint is that they aren't open 10 days a week. This place is the REAL DEAL. Not only is everything that I've tried on the menu amazing, but they change their offerings and add new flavors and amazing Confections all the time. Just when I think I've tried everything in the case several times over they surprise me with something new and amazing. The service is as sweet as the food and maybe even more so. The staff takes the time to explain not only what the item is but it's characteristics as well. The only complaint I have is that they aren't open more days a week. I'm hopeful that if we continue to support them overwhelmingly, that they will expand their business hours!
John Letkeman: Wide range of tasty sweets and a few savories, great coffee, cheerful staff, bright space. All in, an ideal morning coffee experience. One suggestion I have is to use more cheese and heavy cream in the quiche to firm it up. It was too soft and had the texture of scrambled eggs.

I'm from Humboldt and I met the Owner on a day he was closed but we talked for a while and we told some stories. Anyways he was a wonderful person and I went in many many times after and always wear one of my Humboldt Shirts when i go in. They make quality stuff there. Everything I have had has been delicious!
Tiffany Ellis: We came on a Saturday morning. The staff was so friendly & helpful. The store is so cute. We tried the chocolate pie, pecan roll, cream cheese cinnamon roll, glazed cinnamon roll. We loved everything. The glazed roll was probably the least favorite, but he still cleaned his plate. The pie was one of the best we had ever tasted. We arrived just after 10 & they were already sold out of a lot of stuff.

Seriously, all weekend they were talking about how they could not stop eating the leftovers. I had a slice during the party and it was HEAVENLY!Aside from custom orders, the macarons you can walk in and buy are so cute and delicious. The event ones were well loved by loved ones. I am definitely coming back for more and getting more custom orders for special events.

Custom orders for birthday parties and all other special occasions, whether it be weddings, baby showers, Xmas gifts for co-workers, and every holiday in between - these delicious macarons are always the extra special touch to any gift and/or dessert table. 702 Macarons is such a crowd pleaser! These macarons are beautiful to look at, and so satisfying to my taste buds! The texture of a macaron is everything, hers have the perfect crunch with the right amount of chewiness on the inside. There are a variety of flavors to choose from, some of my personal favorites are Cookies and Cream, Ube, Salted Caramel, and my daughter loves the Strawberry. I love to support local business, and getting to see this business grow from custom orders and farmers markets, to now a brick and mortar right off the the 215 and Gibson is incredible! It’s also dangerous because now I don’t need a custom order to grab these delicious sweet snacks, I can walk in anytime. And on top of that, they feature different desserts like specialty creme brûlée’s, and other baked goods that will keep me coming back to try more!
