Michael Thiele: I would highly recommend Lake Mead cruises. I went in the afternoon had lunch on the paddleboat, which was much better than I expected. The staff on the paddleboat were very friendly, personable, funny, and a pleasure to have on the trip, the view of the Hoover dam from the water is breathtaking. I highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed!

Kathryn Sloop: This was a wonderful rafting excursion led by Eugene. He’s a great pilot, fun, funny, and full of information about the dam, river and wildlife. We had a great time. It’s a wonderful way to experience the water without much physical effort. And the raft provides cold wet towels to make sure you don’t overheat…a key reason we didn’t burn. If you go, wear a suit under sun clothes and bring a hat and sunscreen. Open toe shoes are fine. The water is cold but so refreshing. Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to get out and enjoy the outdoors but not kayak for 6 hours!

Lori Long: We visited Lake Mead and Hover Dam recently. Highly recommend this 3 ish hour rafting tour on the Colorado river below Hover Dam. You'll get up close and personal with the Hoover Dam from the Colorado river side, the human ingenuity , the scale of the engineering and sheer bravery of the men who built it. If you get a chance, walk across the top of the Dam from the Nevada side to the Arizona side and take the tour of the power plant inside the Dam.
