Santos Gomez: First time visit won't be my last. The food was gorgeous but demolished in seconds. Sushi was top notch and fairly reasonably priced. The vibe was chill but lively. The music... There was a moment between eating sashimi and a sip of sake where I almost cried. Definitely recommend as a hidden gem. Service was impeccable. Sit at the bar if you're hungry. Relax in a booth or seat if you have time.Kid-friendliness: No kids, no Capes
Dawn Smith: We ended an amazing day celebrating our 12 year at Maxan's last night and it was absolutely perfect. We had the Yellowtail sashimi, Aioli jalapeño shrimp bombs, Hot Mama Roll and cucumber salad and every bite was fantastic. The Japanese old fashioned was decent. Prices are a little high but totally worth it with no cover, in our opinion as we definitely would have paid for a ticket to see the Crazy, Sexy, Groove musicians. Service was highly attentive and we appreciated the table visit during intermission. We will most definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Thank you Max and team for the proverbial cherry on top of our evening!

Kimberly And Steve: Had an amazing night here! The food was delicious and the ambience was on point! It may be dark for some, but the show is so much better feeling like a stage than a restaurant. I will admit there was an unknown smell to the building, but after the room was full and food was being served that it seemed to go away/was less noticeable.Would highly recommend seeing MoMad-Pepe Corelo on drums, Keegan Carter on bass, Moses Hazan on piano, Madysin on vocals.We felt very welcomed by manager, DaVie. We did not have reservations, but were still accommodated. A must for a night of quality food and jazz.
