My husband was equally impressed with the center. You won't regret having your baby with April and her staff. From the front desk to everyone else, you are met with professionalism, a kind smile, and genuine concern. Who would miss going to prenatal and post partum appointments? I will!! The team is like an extended family that I will miss!!

Veronica Contreras: I had the most amazing delivery at Serenity! I labored 90% at home and the remainder at the birth center. This being my first baby, I did not know what to expect. My labor went by really quickly and everything progressed so fast, but the staff at Serenity was so helpful and ready for me when I arrived. My amazing doula Alexyis called the birth center to let them know we were headed that way so they could prepare. When I got there, the bathtub was ready and warm for me. April was the midwife on call that day and she made the whole experience that much better with her calmness and encouragement. Everyone there was a joy and made the experience that much better. I appreciate and love the Serenity staff! I can’t wait to have more babies there. Oh and the facility is beautiful! Very clean and nice. Way better than a hospital! I 10/10 recommend Serenity for those interested in a non medicated, natural labor/birth.

Ming: OMG! Choosing Serenity Birth Center as my place of giving birth was hands down, the BEST thing I have ever done in my life. The experience was so raw and emotional. So intimate and just so very amazing. The nurse who assisted in my delivery was so very kind and witty. Made my labor not as bad as I thought. April was also amazing- giving me the space to labor and get through it on my own while also giving me the possitive affirmations that I needed… it was just lovely.Since I wasn’t able to afford a birthing class and I didn’t have a doula, I was very nervous if I could even do it but they reassured me every step of the way that I could do it. It honestly gave me a lot of confidence for when labor started. Labored for about 8 hours at home, and 2 hours at the center and at its peak, I still felt it was super easy laboring at the center with some guided support.I would relive that moment 100000x over if I could, no matter how painful. It was just too amazing to forget, and I still talk about it to this day. I’ve already referred a few of my fellow pregnant peers to check out Serenity Birth Center and I would seriously recommend it to anyone atleast looking into a different birthing option other than a hospital. Even though I changed my mind last minute during my third trimester about delivering baby at the hospital towards birthing center, Serenity birthing center still accepted me .But it was a journey. Deep breathing , hot tub, snacks and coconut water helped a lot! What helped also lot is a laughing gas , it got me to relaxed mind and got me more energy to push. Clean room and soft bed makes you feel very comfortable .Julia and April were so nice to us , understanding , supporting and reliable during the whole delivery process , and welcomed my son into the world after over 30 hours in labour ! Im so grateful for your help ! And big thank you for making every pregnant women feel special on her delivery journey !

We had a number of poor experiences with providers in the past and wanted a more natural birth. If you'd like to learn if their organization is a good fit for your next birth, we suggest you reach out to them for a virtual appointment where they tell you about their philosophy and services and answer your questions. You can also tour the birth center if you're considering having your birth at Serenity Birthing Center. After the virtual call, my husband and I scheduled our first appointment.April was knowledgeable, kind, clearly communicated, thorough, didn't rush us, empowered us with information we needed to make decisions as a family, and supported us with her professional expertise. In other establishments, my husband was treated as though he should not be a part of the pregnancy/birthing experience. In addition, we were rushed and treated like a number. At Baby's First Day, my husband was welcomed and brought into the conversation and appointment from the very beginning. We appreciated being listened to and being treated as human beings, more specifically a family bringing a new life into the world.The first appointment was representative of all the other appointments we had with each of the midwives. Every single midwife was knowledgeable, clearly communicated, empowered, and supported us. They also communicated well with each other so my experience was consistently excellent. Between appointments, their communication was timely and thorough through the online portal as well. We learned about foods to eat, exercises to do, birthing positions to practice, books/research to read, and accounts to follow to help facilitate a smooth birth. They even have a library where you can check out books as well. Their office staff is wonderful, too!Our birthing experience was an absolute blessing. The knowledge and care the midwives at Baby's First Day poured into us throughout our pregnancy was exactly what we needed to have such a beautiful birth - natural, in water, peaceful, coached the whole way through by my husband, and with so much love. We didn't feel nervous or anxious about the birth, so it let us be 100% present with each other and with our baby when she first arrived. During the birth, I caught our baby with my own hands, and my husband cut the cord, weighed her, and had skin to skin time with her while I rinsed off to get ready to feed her. Those first hours were full of so much peace and love.I've appreciated the care and service Baby's First Day provided so much, I'm sticking with them for my OBGYN needs.Would recommend 10/10

Carli Morris: This review is long over due.I have no other way to start this review besides, there is no one like April to help you through your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.I had two births before going to her. I was seen at many different types of establishments, military doctors, civilian doctors, doctors claiming to be natural, but I had never experienced what I received going to Aprils birth center.My past experiences I was dismissed with how I was feeling, I wasn't comforted, I was told things that would scare any parent.But this isn't the case with April. She listened to every single concern I had. She was able to manage my anemia to get it up to where it needed to be for birth, and actually the highest I had ever had my iron in my life.My entire family came to all of my appointments and it never felt awkward. They let my five year old son help with hearing the baby to make him included.Even the receptionist was wonderful and caring.April and another midwife had came to my house for my birth. I was in labor for about 15 hours before my husband called them and told them it was time. They came within 15 minutes even with it being a weekend, early in the morning.I was trying to push before they came so when April said you're good to push and I told her I was trying and it wasn't working she immediately moved my position and positioned her hands on my belly to help me. I felt immediate relief and that the pushing was finally helping.They were wonderful helping out after and when I called with pain they helped me manage it.The nurse coming to the house two days later was amazing.I thought maybe this was because it was a birth center and my other births were hospital births. Let me tell you, I'm pregnant again and NO it's not a birth center. The place I go to now is horrible. My first appointment I literally kept thinking, she's no April.If I was still living in Vegas I would be at Aprils in a heartbeat.

Jasmine Bugbee: our girl we would have felt safe and secure with. I had a verrrryyy long and intense labor but the entire time I never felt scared or nervous because I trusted the midwives expertise that everything was OK. I was able and encouraged to move freely from bed to tub, to toilet, to shower as I felt right throughout the labor. After our birth, we were left as a family to lay in bed together to relax, recover and bond as a new family- no nurses interrupting every few minutes like in a hospital but our midwife/ RN were right outside the door if we needed them.The Birth Center is so lovingly designed- from the low lighting, comfortable bed, decorations, snacks and drinks, the beautiful birthing tub, etc- everything is expertly curated to make you feel comfortable and keep your oxytocin flowing! The birth center is perfect for people like me, who want the comforts of a home birth but the medical equipment available

The support and care from the midwives before, during, and after birth was amazing. I felt heard, seen, respected, and taken care of the entire time. They made me feel prepared and comfortable during birth, and I know that played into how well things went. I didn’t need any interventions, but felt confident in their ability to handle a difficult or emergency situation had I been faced with one. The staff aside from midwives was amazing, helpful, and friendly as well. A very welcoming environment! Every woman deserves to be treated in this way!

If you believe in respectful, kind, well-educated and up-to-date care, then Serenity Birth Center is the place for you and your family. My delivery was excellent and part of it we owe to Sarah our Midwife. She is an excellent midwife, educated, kind, well informed but much better than that is her good vibes and energy WE LOVE SARAH!!!. All the staff at this place are incredibly adorable. If I had another baby again, I would never go to a hospital. The only thing they lack is a pediatrician so we wouldn't have to leave them once our babies are born. You literally won't want to abandon them. Thousands of thanks to all the midwife, Sarah, Carrol, April and all the other midwifes.

Tearra Brown: It was such a cozy atmosphere. The lady who did our ultrasound was very patient with my teenagers as they had questions about a lot of things. She showed them the difference between 3D/4D/5D and laughed with us when we made some jokes. Helped me from not getting emotional while I was watching my new baby girl on the screen.Details were amazing!

Skylar Mackenzie: Beautiful bellies is truly an amazing place to go!! This is our rainbow baby and in the beginning I was in every week to two weeks just to make sure baby was okay. They took the time to just be there for me and make sure by the time I left I was at ease as much as I could be. Today my little one wasn’t wanting to cooperate so what was a normally 20 min session turned into a 1 hour session. We tried lots of different things to get little man to flip so we could see his face for the 4D ultrasound and her just taking that time and effort so that I could get the pics that I got today is just truly amazing. I couldn’t ever express how grateful I am for this place and the workers in there!! They take the time and effort and have so much compassion to just be there and enjoy that moment with you. I will forever use this place with my pregnancy’s.

B. Webster: Great experience. It was nice to be able to invite the babies grandmothers and aunts to see her little face. They have a clean and comfortable viewing area and we had a very nice and knowledgeable ultrasound tech.

I felt very supported not only through the end of my pregnancy but during labor/delivery and even in my weeks post partum. Having access to the Well Rounded Momma birth classes was also great; I found them so helpful even though this was my second baby. I would highly recommend Tori and WRM, great place and people to have on hand.

It was such a huge relief to have someone who was willing to come to my home, especially on a weekend, because with 4 kids it isn't easy to get out. Rory was patient, kind, understanding, compassionate, and thorough. I was very impressed with her knowledge and patience, and so grateful that she spent the time with me that I needed and never made me feel rushed. She had a lot of tricks and tips for me and I am confident that our breastfeeding journey will be better going forward!

There was no reassurance, no education, no guidance, and I didn't feel like all my concerns were addressed. I wanted more. I wanted something different and beautiful for me and my baby. I browsed and found Well Rounded Mama. I decided to have a consultation with Tori Hinkle. Meeting Tori was so refreshing. Instantly she made me feel at ease, despite the early onset of a world pandemic. She corrected the errors of the OB overlooked, such as my high amniotic fluid the nurses and my OB completely missed. I felt secure and those last few weeks of my pregnancy, I felt excited and ready to become a mom thanks to Tori.Tori was attentive to all my questions and concerns. She always made herself available. Always a phone call + text away, 24/7. This was also essential as I did not feel that same accessibility like the traditional OB for an expecting mother. Tori has been a blessing to me and my family, who has helped guide us into parenthood. I felt safe going to Tori with any problems I had, big or small, medical or personal. Although I didn't have my dream home birth with both of my boys, Tori made the experiences more smooth and enjoyable.Right away you can tell she loves what she does and exceeds expectations and beyond because she's also that good at what she does. She truly is a blessing with her exceptional expertise. I can't thank Tori enough for what she has done for my family, but for me as a mother postpartum. She not only emphasizes the important of child care but parental + individual care also. I will forever entrust Tori.

Kim Ragsdale: Came to Rory after I was unable to get my baby to latch in the hospital. She worked with my baby and I for two hours, breastfeeding, pumping and bottle feeding so she could observe and give feedback. Not only did she answer every question I had but helped me get my confidence back. 10/10

If hospitals didn't work for you, definitely give them a try. They are empathetic to your wants and needs and ensure you are receiving the medical standard of care as well. Highly recommend.
