Keaosha McMurray: Since I have been attending, Crescent Gaming and Boarding School, it has been a very great experience. The games are so fun to learn, the instructors are great. They’ll have you picking up on a game within a week. Get your foot into the door really fast. I have met friends at the Crescent Gaming School and some have jobs or starting a job because they have passed their test and auditions within like two weeks and have gotten their foot in the door at the casinos. The instructors set you up for success.

miss massima: I recently landed a job bartending so wanted to attend so that I can get some practice in. I had called but no dial tone. I drove up to see if they were still open and the building wasn't there anymore. I walked into a spa shop next door that had been around just as long as them to try and get some intel on what happened and come to find out the owner and coach Tommy are no longer with us. They sadly passed away is what the gal told me. I hope this helps anyone trying to figure out why the business just shut down out of nowhere. My deepest condolences to the family. There classes were beyond helpful and fun. I won't ever forget them.
Liz Coopersmith: and there was a lot of decor, my couple hired three set-up assistants from the LA branch of NBS. It was a fantastic experience - the office was very accessible and flexible beforehand, and the assistants were experienced and ready to schlep. And there was a lot of schlepping, especially when most of the decor arrived less than two hours before the guest arrived. They were total lifesavers and are permanently on my vendor list from now on!

I went in with no prior experience and now possess the confidence and the knowledge to not only be a bartender but be a great bartender. You often hear from people how bartending school is a waste of money, while that may be true elsewhere, it certainly is not the case with this school. Landed a gig upon graduation and I am pleased with the amount of drinks that I have in my repertoire.

The emphasis of the 3-week Bartending course is on mastering the art of mixing drinks quickly and properly. Upon graduation, the student will have the confidence and ability to step behind any bar, without any hesitation, and mix drinks proficiently. The key to mastering this art is practice, therefore students can expect to spend much of their class time behind the bar mixing cocktails.
Crescent is unique in offering a 12-week Beverage Management course that's designed to help you move into a Head Bartender or Beverage Manager position. This class is the only one of its kind in the nation, along with its impressive hands-on bartending/mixology training, you will also learn a wide range of management skills along with intensive product knowledge training. This class is eligible for financial aid.
Crescent's Casino Dealer Training programs provide up-to-the-minute, relevant instruction on all the latest gaming trends and techniques. What you learn is based on the primary skills employers want to see in the dealers they hire AND what players like to see in the dealers they interact with and tip on the casino floor.
With our “hands on” teaching methods, Crescent School graduates learn a complete understanding of the gaming business. In addition, they will be thoroughly conversant with the rules, techniques, systems, procedures, equipment, and theory in their choice of one (or all) of the following casino games: Blackjack, Roulette, Poker, Mini-Baccarat/Carnival Games, and Craps.
